Even people with medically diagnosed lactose intolerance, can and should have small amounts of lactose daily, Australian dietitian Nicole Dynan says.

Speaking with Dr Terri Foran on a recent Healthed podcast, Ms Dynan said it was important to remember that lactose intolerance is not an allergy. People with the condition still have some lactase enzyme activity, just not to the same degree as other people.
